Naomi Clark

Naomi Clark is an independent game designer based in New York City and an Assistant Arts Professor at the NYU Game Center. For more than two decades she's designed, produced, and written for a wide variety of games including early text-based virtual worlds, downloadable and mobile games, online games for LEGO, educational games on subjects ranging from upcycling to electrical circuits, game development tools for kids, and digital brick-building systems for LEGO. She's also written about games in online publications and books such as Videogames for Humans and Queer Game Studies, in addition to co-authoring a textbook on game design with Anna Anthropy entitled A Game Design Vocabulary. Her current design projects include Consentacle, a two-player game of trust, communication and intimacy, and Lacerunner, a 19th-century retheme of the competitive card game Android: Netrunner.
